Now, lottery officials are urging the person who bought it to come forward, as the deadline to claim the ticket is fast approaching.

The cash value of the March 26 ticket sold at the Route 66 ShopRite in Neptune is an estimated $537.5 million. The winning numbers for the drawing were: 07, 11, 22, 29 and 38. The Gold Mega Ball number was 04. The Multiplier number was 02.

"New Jersey Lottery winners have one year from the date of the drawing to file a claim before the ticket expires," the New Jersey Lottery said. "While it is not unusual for winners of large jackpots to take their time to file a claim, we do urge all players to check their tickets."

The winner is urged to contact New Jersey Lottery to begin the claim process as soon as possible. Officials also urged the winner to seek professional legal and financial advice.

The winner will have until March 26, 2025, to file their claim before the ticket expires.

A 2020 New Jersey law allows lottery winners to remain anonymous indefinitely, and the identity of winners will not be included in materials available to public inspection under the State’s Open Public Records Act. Players claiming Lottery prizes worth $600.00 or more must still provide their identity to Lottery officials to claim a prize.

The New Jersey Lottery is still required by law to withhold state and federal taxes from certain prizes awarded. The New Jersey Lottery also shares the identity of winners with other State agencies, and claims are reviewed for collection of unpaid obligations such as child support, student loan arrearages, and back taxes.
